Root Cause Analysis

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) means looking deeper than symptoms. It is a process to identify the underlying physiological, environmental, and lifestyle imbalances that are driving those symptoms with the help of comprehensive blood work and /or stool testing, hormone panels, and detailed timelines of a patient’s life history to map out these connections.

As we all know, symptoms usually don’t appear randomly. They are often the body’s way of signalling underlying imbalances such as:

• Nutrients deficiencies

• Poor gut health or digestion

• Ongoing stress or poor sleep

• Hormone imbalances

• Inflammation in the body

• Metabolic issues

When looking at a blood report through the lens of functional nutrition, we are looking for optimal ranges and not the ranges that appear in lab reports. While the standard laboratory ranges identify the absence of disease; optimal ranges identify the presence of health.

Nutritional
Counselling

This is a collaborative effort with the clients wherein based on their symptoms and health history, we translate complex clinical data (e.g. blood markers) into a sustainable, personalized nutritional roadmap for the client.

As we all know, traditional counselling often focuses on calories and general food groups, functional nutrition counselling connects each food choice to how it influences your body’s metabolism, hormones, gut, and overall health.

Here, FOOD is the targeted therapy. You get guidance on:

• What foods support your current needs

• What foods may be triggering symptoms

• Meal timing for blood sugar stability

• Protein, fibre, fat balance

• Hydration and supplementation

• Lifestyle tools and tips

Follow-ups: Symptom tracking, lab improvements, sustainability of nutrition plan. Plans will evolve with your progress.

Customized
diet plans

Here, a diet plan is customized because it addresses the specific "roots" found in the Root Cause Analysis (RCA). It’s a customized functional plan is built for your unique biochemistry. For example, we adjust greens and proteins to manage fasting Insulin. We may include specific foods like bone broth or a specific supplement that help your gut lining if gut imbalance was the root cause. We may recommend vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower that are good source to support the liver for detoxification
